We went a mission to seek out the best acai offerings around the island, and these are our picks for the most nutritious and delicious acai bowls and smoothies in Singapore.

Absolute Acai

Conveniently located in the CBD, Absolute Acai is a health food mecca offering up acai smoothies and bowls, along with other superfood treats. The signature acai bowl comes with an icy cold purple puree of acai berries, fresh apples, bananas, and coconut water topped with all sorts of goodies like granola, cacao nibs, bee pollen, and chia seeds. In a rush? Grab one of their acai breakfast smoothies to go.

Afterglow is all about farm-to-table, natural vegan eats like colourful veggie spring rolls, substantial salads, and raw pizzas. But save room for dessert because the acai bowl is absolutely dreamy. Think tangy acai berries, muesli packed with tasty bites like cashews and cranberries, fresh banana slices, berry compote, salted tahini ‘caramel’, and a coconut cracker to top it all off.

They actually have two versions of the acai bowl called the Pura Vida and Sao Paulo, and both come with a cool blend of acai berries, fresh fruits like kiwi and mango, and crunchy homemade granola.

Haakon offers up wholesome clean-eating fare with a Scandinavian twist. You’ll find tons of options for all kinds of eaters here including vegan, paleo, and gluten-free dishes. The acai bowls are especially popular, as they come loaded with seasonal fruits and a range of textures from the granola, coconut flakes, and chia seed parfait. Tucked away in the basement of One Raffles Place, Parallel is a tiny stall serving up aromatic CMCR coffee and tasty acai smoothies and bowls. There are three versions of the acai bowl to choose from including the superstar, amino, or antioxidant, and you can opt for a regular or large size. We suggest snazzing up your fruit, granola, and acai puree with a drizzle of all-natural honey.

Project Acai is Singapore’s first chain dedicated entirely to acai smoothies and bowls. The menu is straightforward with just a few options like the supergreens acai bowl with kale and spinach blended into the acai smoothie base or the original flower bowl that looks just as good as it tastes with an assortment of fresh fruits and granola spread out like flower petals on top of the acai base.

Looking for a healthy afternoon snack in the CBD? Make your way to Randy Indulgence where the staff serve up acai and cereal bowls along with fruity ice cream creations. The acai bowls come in either ‘diet size’ or ‘happy size’ and you can opt for the fruity version with bananas, strawberries, and blueberries or the protein version with granola, banana, walnuts, almonds, and chia seed pudding.
