Fisk Seafood Bar & Market
Fresh cold water seafood is the focus at Fisk, an ultra-modern seafood bar and market where you can dine on fresh fish and crustaceans prepared in a myriad of ways, then shop for those same products to take home. The dining room features modern Scandinavian-style design, so lots of light wood, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a unique wave pattern that undulates throughout. On the menu and in the market are tempting selections like fish smoked in house, fresh lobster and prawns, and Norwegian sauces and sides.

Blue Label Pizza & Wine
Brand new to Ann Siang Road, Blue Label Pizza & Wine is brought to us by the same team behind Angeleno and Luke’s. The small space is done up with funky wood panelling and comfy banquettes, and the menu features creative wood-fired pizzas, snacks to share, and a decent selection of wine. This is a great little spot for after-work vino and slices, especially if you work in the CBD. Seating is limited, so reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are also welcome on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Amoy Street gets another much-hyped dining venue with the opening of Kimme by Chef Sun Kim. While Kim’s first venture Meta serves up fine dining fare that has earned it one well-deserved Michelin star, his new spot offers casual bites with a Korean kick. Housed in a three-storey shophouse, the space features an easy-going dining room on the first floor, a bar for cold beers, glasses of bubbly, soju and makgeolli (Korean rice wine) on the second floor, and a private dining room on the third floor.
47 Amoy Street
It’s omakase menus only at Restaurant Lerouy, an intriguing new spot on Stanley Street where diners sit at a winding counter facing the open kitchen. Here Chef Christophe Lerouy pairs classic French cooking techniques with modern flavour combos. Think Japanese oysters with frothy Comte cheese, miso foam and thin slices of pear and a silky Squid Ink Rice with smoked eel, chorizo and egg yolk confit. The menu ranges from $38++ for a three-course lunch to $128 for a decadent seven-course dinner.
