Why you should come here:
The atmosphere always seems to be buzzing here with a good mix of patrons that range from digital nomads to working professionals in for an after-work drink. The drinks are pretty reasonably priced, especially during happy hours, and the food consists of tasty light bites that you can eat with your fingers like the Truffle Ebi Fries with tempura breaded tiger prawns and black truffle, Spicy Miso Meatballs, and the Okonomiyaki, a new twist on the typical Japanese pancake made more like a pizza with Hokkaido scallops, prawns, apple wood smoked bacon, sweet onions and mozzarella.
What we love:
First of all, the old school hip hop and R&B tunes they play on Friday nights are definitely the bomb, and secondly, the 1-for-1 specials are a super great deal. We also love the fact that they’ve incorporated fresh sushi into their bar bites, and highly recommend the Temaki Bites, which come with hand rolls filled with spicy tuna, king salmon, and California roll fixings. And of course, the views and breezes up on the rooftop are fab, which makes this the perfect spot for CBD’ers to chill after work.
UJ Tidbit:
Be sure to stop by during happy hours from Monday to Saturday between 5pm and 8pm to take advantage of their 1-for-1 deals on selected beers, wines and spirits. Not many people may know this, but they also do bento box delivery for offices in the area, so if you’re craving a sushi fix mid-day, just give them a ring.
