We’d even go as far to say it’s our preferred option – we’re totally done with hungover Monday’s! If you’re looking to start the weekend off with a superb gourmet spread with bubbles to boot, here’re our top picks of Singapore’s best boozy Saturday brunches, from all you can eat buffets to set menus served tableside. Bochinche

This is slowly becoming one of our new favourite spots. Not only for its food but for the ambience. We were pleased to hear they also offer a Saturday brunch menu which includes options like Brioche French Toast, Empanadas and of course, steak. Pair your meal with the $55 free flow prosecco option and top off the afternoon with a Dulce de Leche.

Cherry Garden

The decor at Cherry Garden at Mandarin Oriental Singapore is pure Asian elegance with warm wooden panels, Chinese vases filled with fresh flowers, and gorgeous slate floors with cherry blossom patterns. The perfect setting for its luxurious Champagne Dim Sum Brunch, which offers 50 dim sum selections from the menu, as well as soups, seafood, grilled meats, and noodles. Did we mention you can wash it all down with glasses of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut? Yes please!

Garibaldi

Saturday brunch at Garibaldi’s is a pretty swanky affair; think white linen tablecloths, soft leather chairs, and fresh Italian delicacies served right to your table. The brunch menu changes weekly depending on which seasonal ingredients are available, but examples of past offerings include freshly shucked oysters, artisan burrata cheese from Puglia with tomatoes and basil, and tender veal cheeks with truffled mashed potatoes. Plus, you can be as sensible or sybaritic as you please with non-alcoholic and free-flow options.

Il Lido on the Cliff

Head down to Sentosa and perch yourself for a couple of hours at Il Lido on the Cliff. You can grab a table with views of the pool or views of the sea which will definitely put you in holiday mode! The meal starts off with plates of appetisers and pasta for sharing before moving on to your choice of 3 mains. The meal ends with a dessert station that you won’t want to miss.

Keyaki

There’s something so satisfying about the combination of Japanese food and bubbles, which is probably why Keyaki at the Pan Pacific Singapore packs people in every weekend for their Bubbly Brunch. The eight-course brunch menu includes 40 different items to choose from, including five delicious Japanese options for each course like hamachi sashimi, grilled scallop with a spicy cod roe sauce, or teppanyaki chicken, beef, or prawn. Plus you can imbibe a variety of bubbles including Laurent Perrier Brut NV Champagne, Sparkling Akazaru Shochu, or Mio Sparkling Sake.

Kinki

Edgy, fresh, and fun are just a few words to describe Kinki’s Bottomless Brunch that takes place every Saturday. The space is contemporary and cool with graffiti on the walls and large windows looking over Marina Bay. And its brunch menu is divine, expect 43 à la carte items to choose from including sashimi, imaginative sushi rolls like the Hot Dynamite with fried yellowtail, salmon and prawn, and mains like the wagyu foie gras donburi and crusted spicy salmon. At just $52 it’s a steal, but word is already out on the street so be sure to make a reservation.

La Brasserie

After a big Friday night out, a decent feed and a hair of the dog is in order, and La Brasserie offers the perfect solution to help get you through your Saturday after the night before. Its Saturday brunch features a DIY Bloody Mary station where you can fix yourself a stiff one before settling in for a hearty feed of gourmet salads, antipasti, eggs any way you like them, grilled meats, and sinfully sweet desserts. It also doesn’t hurt that the brunch is accompanied by easy-going live tunes and spectacular views of the waterfront.

Ô Batignolles

Brunch like a Parisian at Ô Batignolles, a chic little French bistro and wine bar housed in a shophouse on Gemmill Lane. It’s Champagne & Croissant’s brunch includes free-flow bubbly and croissants (Quelle surprise!), as well as a choice of bread and pastries like brioche and pain au chocolat, a selection of eggs including eggs benny and eggs pacifico with smoked salmon, and coffee, tea, and juice. You can also opt out of the champers and go for just the set breakfast with coffee and juice.

This brunch is for wine lovers! Wine is flowing for 3 hours, from 12pm – 3pm, at this newly launched brunch. Food is served a la carte, but the wine flows for $70++. Free-flowing options on offer range from Villa Sandi’s Valdobbiadene Prosecco to the red, white, and rosé wines from the iconic Spanish vineyard Marques de Riscal. The robust ‘Airenzo’ Tempranillo, vibrant Rueda Verdejo white and pale Rosado Rosé are also available.

VLV

For a divine dim sum feast make your way to VLV located in a historic building on the riverfront in Clarke Quay. Here you’ll find an array of enticing dim sum selections, as well as nine live stations serving up Chinese classics. Start with some dim sum delights like the Steamed Kurobuta Pork Buns or deep-fried prawn beancurd spring rolls, then hit up the live stations for Canton roast duck, Sichuan spicy chicken or crispy soft shell crab coated with salted egg yolk. And if you’re feeling decadent, you can pair your meal with crisp glasses of champers.
