Super Loco

by URBAN JOURNEY

Located on the buzzing waterfront of Roberston Quay, Super Loco is a casual and fun Mexican restaurant and bar, and the sister outlet of popular Lucha Loco on Duxton Hill. We love its festive and colourful vibes and the selection of scrumptious Mexican street foods ticks all the boxes for us. If you’re a fan of Mexican food looking for somewhere cool to hang out, this is a great place to be.

Why you should come here

Super Loco is a consistent and easy spot to go to if you wake up and get a brunch craving. Located on the river, it’s a great indoor and outdoor spot for chilling out with a bunch of pals over some refreshing margaritas, beers and yummy food. The offerings are overall pretty healthy, so you can come here, eat light and feel satisfied.

What we love

Avocado Toast. Need we say more. It’s an awesome snack any time of day but perfect for a brunch too. We usually order two since the portion isn’t so big. The smoked chilli salt gives it a nice kick too. The Acai Super Bowl is also a great option – made with mango, blueberries, coconut, quinoa, chia and granola.

UJ tidbit

If you’re hungover, have the hair of the dog and go for the El Mexicano Grande with a Mexicali Original Pilsner. You’ll thank us!
