Who says Halloween has to be all about the ghostly and ghastly? If you’re more into the glam with just a touch of mystery thrown in for good measure, make your way to The Masqued Ball at Adrift, an alluring dress-up affair featuring a four-course omakase dinner, custom cocktails from their sleek and stylish bar, and music, merriment and dancing until late in the evening.
Adrift is celebrity chef David Myers’ first Singapore venture, and it has been garnering tons of attention since it opened last year for its contemporary interiors, izakaya-inspired dishes made with fresh California produce and Asian spices, and stellar signature tipples created by New York bar consultant Sam Ross.
Their first ever Halloween party will start with an elegant four-course spread created especially by Chef David Myers himself who will also be heading up the kitchen that night. The menu features his King Prawn and Alaskan Crab Cocktail, Pumpkin Soup with foie gras and confit quail, Miso Glazed Pork Chop with brussel sprouts and spiced apples, and a Chocolate Fritter with ginger ice cream and persimmon.
After dinner the party moves to the bar and lounge with free-flow drinks at the open bar like wine, beer, and bubbles, plus custom cocktails created just for the evening. You can also expect body-moving beats, tasty treats to keep the energy flowing, and special prizes for best dressed and more. And in true Adrift fashion, the party will keep on rocking until 2am.
Guests can opt in for the full package with dinner and drinks, or swing by just to party from 9pm until 2am. And no matter which option you choose, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Food from the Heart, a non-profit organisation that brings food, toys and birthday celebrations to the less fortunate in the community.
