2018 is here! Here are 3 openings we are already looking forward to this year.
The English House| Over the past few years, Singapore has seen a slew of celebrity chefs open up shop amid our diverse culinary scene, and the latest to set sights on our shores is British chef and restaurateur Marco Pierre White. Rumour has it that White has snagged a spot in Robertson Quay where he will open The English House, a quaint spot serving up pared-back British fare at reasonable prices. The English House is set to open in June 2018, and we can’t wait to see if it stands up to the hype.British Cuisine
LAVO| Set to open on December 31st, 2017, LAVO is an Italian-American bistro perched on the 57th storey of Marina Bay Sands. Inspired by its sister venues in New York and Las Vegas, this sleek spot features huge glass windows for spectacular views of the city skyline, leather booths that invite you to settle in for a while, and a terrace with an al fresco bar and a gelato cart. Expect handcrafted cocktails and authentic Italian-American classics like the Penne a la Vodka and their famous one-pound meatball topped with ricotta.
