Pop Up Wine was created Singapore-based, Australian couple David and Isadora, who both have heaps of experience in the wine world. David’s great, great, great grandfather was one of the first people to plant wine vines in Australia, while Isadora’s grandfather unintentionally bought a working vineyard to house his merinos in the wine region of New Norcia, Western Australia.

 

After moving to Singapore with their four children, David and Isadora soon realised that it was nearly impossible to find good wines here for less than the airfare back to Australia, so they started supplying friends with great bottles at affordable prices. Soon they were supplying friends of friends, and then friends of friends’ friends, until eventually they decided to create Pop Up Wine.

 

Pop Up Wine offers over 200 award-winning bottles from Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, Argentina, and the US. Every hand-picked vino comes highly rated with a minimum rating of 90, which critics consider to be “extraordinary” or “classic”. Each vino is also imported directly from its origin and housed in a temperature-controlled space to preserve its excellent character.
