Our clubby lounge scene just got ramped up a notch with newbie Avenue on the scene. Adding to the nightlife offerings at Marina Bay Sands, Avenue feels like the fun little chilled out sibling of mega club Marquee, brought to us from TAO Group. We hit it up for an elevated birthday booking, and were pleasantly surprised with the built-in entertainment to keep you and your crew thoroughly distracted throughout the night.
They spared no expense with the amazingly fun fit-out including a full-on bowling lanes, pool table, arcade complete with ski-ball that takes us back to those Chuckee Cheese days of our youth, mixed with an elevated NYC feel (a weird combo for sure but trust us, it works). The space itself is meant to be lounge-y, but there’s definitely still a club vibe as the night progresses and people start to get a bit loose with those dance moves. There’s plenty of different spaces to hangout in within this venue – from the bar area, games room, to the side cocktail bar (complete with a little stage), and even a karaoke room we’ve yet to lay our eyes on.
Their Wednesday night Ladies Night is supposed to be a crowd pleaser, starting from 7pm they have great deals for girls that will definitely get your weekend mood going early. You can also check out their happy hour deals to get your squad going early with 1-for-1s.
UJ Tidbit: Finding the entrance can be a little tricky for those not in the know. Get dropped at the Convention or Casino Drop-off (not hotel side) then walk all the way to the end. The entrance is outside the mall, so don’t go into the Shoppes as you would for Marquee. If you walk to the end outside, past the casino taxi line you’ll eventually see their signage (and maybe a little line if it’s the weekend). The venue itself is in the basement level so upon entry you’ll be escorted to the elevators, which will deliver you directly into the lounge.
