South Florida is a region at the southern tip of the Florida peninsula. It is made up of Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties and includes the major cities of Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.

Getting to South Florida

Metrorail: Metrorail is a 25-mile elevated rail system that runs from Miami International Airport to Dadeland South. It is a convenient and affordable way to get around Downtown Miami, Coral Gables, and South Miami.

Metromover: Metromover is a free, automated people mover that runs in a loop around Downtown Miami. It is a great way to get around the city center without having to worry about parking or traffic.

Metrobus: Metrobus operates a network of buses that serve all of Miami-Dade County. It is a convenient and affordable way to get around the suburbs and outlying areas.

Tri-Rail: Tri-Rail is a commuter rail line that runs from Miami International Airport to West Palm Beach. It is a convenient way to get to the Palm Beaches from Miami.

Brightline: Brightline is a private passenger rail service that operates between Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach. It is a faster and more comfortable option than Tri-Rail, but it is also more expensive.
