We’re going to let you in on a little secret: we’re borderline addicted to HIIT classes. For those who aren’t familiar, these high intensity interval training workouts are quick and to the point, but really pack a punch. The idea is to do short bursts of exercise followed by short rest intervals to get your heart rate going and burn tons of calories. The best part is most classes clock in at about 30 to 45 minutes, which means it’s easy to squeeze them into busy schedule. GuavaPass is our go-to for HIIT classes because they have a great variety of dynamic workouts on offer in gyms and fitness studios in nearly every neighbourhood on the island. If you’re looking for a fun way to get fit quickly and efficiently, these are our five favourite HIIT classes from GuavaPass.

You’ve got to love a workout that flies by super fast and leaves you feeling amped up for the rest of the day. The Functional Fitness course at Juggernaut Studio does just that with quick 30-minute sessions that work on strength and conditioning designed for combat sports. As an added bonus, the classes are kept super small (we’ve been a few times where there were just five people in the class), which is great for getting in some one-on-one time with the instructor.
