Avry| New to Millenia Walk is Avry, a swish avian-themed nightclub featuring an 11-metre bar, bird cages hanging over VIP booths and a sleek Dom Perignon VIP Lounge with walls made out champagne bottles. The club is open just three days a week with free entry for ladies on Wednesdays and a cover charge of $35 per person on Fridays and Saturdays that includes a complimentary drink. For the after-work crowd, there is also a cocktail bar next door called Hairy Canary where you can grab bespoke bevvies and bar bites.9 Raffles Boulevard, Millenia Walk #02-02 / +65 9111 2868 / Nightclub

Catchfly| Tucked away in the basement of 12 Ann Siang, Catchfly is an elegant style bar where soft velvet armchairs await, small-batch American spirits line the shelves, and New York mixologist Liam Baer whips up drinks using housemade syrups and kitchen techniques. Take for example his Salad Days concoction made with gin, sous vide tomatoes, Bianco vermouth, Gentian liqueur, smoked olive oil and pink peppercorns. They also have tasty small plates to go with the bevvies like the Shrimp “Pho Boy” Baguette and Lamb Corn Dogs.12 Ann Siang Road / +65 6222 7183 / Bar & Lounge

Junior| Junior may be tiny with just 10 seats tucked away in a cozy space behind Crackerjack, but their concept is pretty huge for the Singapore drinking scene. Every six months this hip little spot will switch up their entire concept, changing everything from the drinks on offer right down to the decor and music. At the moment the theme is agave-based spirits, so the space is decked out in Mexican paraphernalia and the menu features rare and artisanal tequilas and mezcals, plus bar bites to pair with the spirits. Reservations are highly recommended.43 Tanjong Pagar Road / +65 8121 1462 / Artisan Bar

Kabuke| Sake savants will love Kabuke, a new gastrobar above My Awesome Cafe where the decor is inspired by kabuki theatre and the drink menu features an ever-rotating selection of sakes from all over Japan. Sake flights are priced at just $24++ for three different glasses of your preferred pours, and between 5pm and 7pm every day you can sample the sake of the day for just $7++. They also do hearty lunch bowls packed with beef and pork, as well as light bites like the Crispy Goma Goma Wings and Takoyaki Fries.200A Telok Ayer Street / +65 8822 5525 / Sake Bar

With a solid lineup of international and local DJs, savvy bartenders, and a food stall set up outside for after-hours eats, it’s no surprise that Kilo Lounge is right back up there as one of Singapore’s best nightlife spots.21 Tanjong Pagar Road / +65 9824 9747 / Nightclub
