Mandarin Gallery is at it again with another fantastic giveaway for GSS: Experience Singapore. You may have already heard about their Play Corner, where you can play old-school Singapore games, and stand to win prizes (registration is still open for their 20 July session). Well, we recently teamed up with this awesome Singapore shopping mall to give Urban Journey foodie fans the opportunity to win gorgeous gourmet meals. We’re talking exquisite high tea treats, locally inspired dishes with modern twists and iconic Singapore cocktails.
All you have to do is fill out the sign-up form for your chance to win a multi-course meal for two worth up to $300 from either Lawry’s, Arteastiq or The Providore. Enter quick though because the giveaway ends on the Wednesday 24 July. Here’s what 15 lucky winners can walk away with:
Celebrate GSS: Experience Singapore at Arteastiq with the National Treasure High Tea set that includes Peranakan-inspired delicacies paired with specialty teas and glasses of Moscato or champagne. Savoury bites include kueh pie tee (pastry tart shells) with crab stick, otah fries with green chili sauce, and satay chicken with rice cakes and peanut sauce. Sweets range from rainbow kueh lapis (layered cake) with kaya to rich baked tapioca kueh with lychee and soft gula mereka custard with red bean.
You’ll want to leave plenty of room for this feast because Lawry’s is going all out with their limited edition Singapore Flavour menu. The meal starts with their famous spinning salad bowl and an appetizer platter loaded with crab cakes, shrimp cocktail, and grilled chicken coins rolled in turkey bacon and stuffed with wild mushroom and cheese. For mains you have your choice of prime rib, linguine with crab and lobster tail, or chicken rendang. Finish it all off with bubur kacang or almond jelly.
The Providore’s new limited edition four-course menu features cafe classics amped up with local produce, herbs and spices. Think baked codfish with Parma ham, watercress and sriracha aioli, grilled Shark Bay prawns on a glass noodle and herb salad with lime, chili, ginger and lemongrass dressing, crab linguine with semi sun dried tomatoes, chilli padi, flat parsley and capers, and pandan white chocolate mousse to finish. Be sure to try The Providore Chocolate Godzilla beverage with gula melaka ice cream and syrup.
