If you’re looking to fill up your calendar with fun events and outings, this is where all the action is going down in November. Cocktail connoisseurs will love this week-long festival dedicated to the noble Old Fashioned. The festival was originally launched in 2015 by Michael Landart of the Maria Loca bar in Paris and Cyrille Hugon of Rhum Fest France/Rumporter, and it has now become a global event. Swing by the IB HQ from 5pm onwards to sample classic creations and new twists on this bourbon-based favourite.

Israeli food isn’t easy to find here in The Little Red Dot, which is why we’re super excited for A Taste of Jerusalem when internationally acclaimedChef Yossi Eladof Jerusalem’s Machneyuda and The Palomar in London will be taking over the kitchen at Wild Honey. We can’t wait to sample his contemporary takes on classic Israeli dishes like shakshuka, sabich, musakhan, and mamilla. FYI – there’s also afree return trip to Israelup for grabs.

The Singapore Writers Festival is the perfect platform to unveil the Goethe-Institut Singapore’s virtual reality space inspired by Franz Kafka’s famous story The Metamorphosis. Step inside the world of main character Gregor Samsa and see his bedroom through his eyes… or should we say the eyes of the beetle he transformed into.

For three days this November, the Fort Gate area of Fort Canning Park will be transformed into a haven of innovative music and arts with the Neon Lights festival. Expect live acts like Yuna, Cigarettes After Sex, The Vaccines, and NY indie legends Interpol, who will be performing for the first time ever in the region. There will also be creative workshops, art installations, and great gourmet food.

Invasion with Mikey Moran & Oliver Osborne
Now back and fully rebooted, Invasion at Kilo Lounge brings together dope DJs from around the region. On Saturday November 17th, Jakarta legend Mikey Moran and Singapore-based Oliver Osborne will be throwing down their unique styles of deep house and techno to keep the dance floor grooving from 10pm until 4am. Entry is free before midnight and $20 after.
Pop Up Vegan Dinner at The Social Space
HRVST are the champions of clean, green cuisine here in Singapore, and on November 17th they’ll be partnering with The Social Space to present a beautiful 5-courseveganmeal at this socially conscious and eco-friendly store.
